Young Creative Awards 2016

1 January 0001

The theme of this year's Young Creative Awards is 'Goals and Dreams', so we couldn't have picked a better year to act as sponsors...

The Young Creative Awards is an annual creative competition open to all 13-24 year olds, working, living or studying in Nottingham.

The goal: to celebrate the creativity within the city.

Nottingham City of Football are proud to call ourselves a sponsor of the 2016 YCA’s. As the theme is “Goals and Dreams”, we couldn’t think of a more suitable year.

The awards aim to develop and support young creative talent in the city, put young people in Nottingham on the creative map, and make Nottingham a world-class creative hub.

They’re passionate about the creativity of young people, and want to encourage and nurture their talent; helping them to find opportunities, get noticed and open doors to successful careers.

Awards are offered across a wide variety of creative categories and supported by a committed group of creative businesses and organisations in Nottingham.

By entering the awards you could win a cash prize and a host of other opportunities, such as mentoring from experts in your creative area, work experience, industry recognition and publicity, and the chance to exhibit around the city.

Entries are judged by experts including writers, designers, filmmakers and more, and the winners are announced at a proper swanky awards night.

So go on, get out there. Think about your own goals and dreams, turn it into some form of art, and you stand a chance of getting some awesome prizes, as well as being a part of an awesome event.
