What’s happening in November?

Celebrating Nottingham’s achievements and getting everyone playing…

This month sees the culmination of our efforts to entrench Nottingham into the history of English football, with an event to mark the achievements of the city’s two professional clubs.

Hall of Fame

We’re celebrating at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham on Thursday Nov 3rd as Nottingham Forest and Notts County get inducted into the National Football Museum Hall of Fame.

It will be a spectacle to remember with legends from both teams in attendance, including the stars of Nottingham Forest’s European Cup wins, as well as host Gary Newbon and presenter Carl Froch.

Kids for a Quid

Elsewhere in the city this month, an old initiative has been rebooted for the next home game at the City Ground on Saturday Nov 5th.

For Nottingham Forest’s match against QPR Kids for a Quid has been brought back. All under 12s will be able to watch Nottingham’s professional stars for just £1.

Disability Sessions

But football’s not just about spectating; we want to get everyone involved in playing too.

That’s why we’re leading a number of disability football sessions this month, the first in partnership with Rainbow Parents and Carers, which takes place at 3-4pm on Saturday Nov 12th at the Pearson Centre, 2 Nuart Rd, Nottingham, NG9 2NH.

Additionally, we are running a disability session for boys and girls aged 14+ on Monday Nov 21st from 7-8pm at Monty Hind Youth Centre, Leen Gate, Nottingham, NG7 2LX.

Also, don’t forget about our Amputee Football Sessions, where we’re starting the first amputee football team in Nottingham, be at Nottingham Football Centres on Sundays in West Bridgford, 2-4pm.
